Spirit door found...

capt.73e7c38a6ae342e6b3e3948fc62c88e7-73e7c38a6ae342e6b3e3948fc62c88e7-0A 3500 year old stone, believed to be a "door" to the Afterlife belonging to a high powered ancient Egyptian official was unearthed, according to the Egyptian office e of antiquities.  It was discovered during an excavation, where it was discovered as part of a crumbled wall from a Roman era building. 

The six foot tall granite slab is believed to have belonged to the tomb of User, a chief minister for Queen Hatshepsut who ruled during the fifteen century BC. 

Found in many tombs, these doors- usually adorned with religious symbols- were meant to take spirits to and from the Afterworld.
