From Russia, With Love...

Spy_VS_Spy_Anna Chapman, the Russian spy kicked out of America this summer, will be appearing in the Russian version of Maxim.

And boy is she ever blowing her cover...

According to Russia’s state-run RIA Novosti, Chapman will appear on the magazine’s cover armed with a revolver and wearing next to nothing. A photo on the Russian Maxim website shows her sitting on a red couch with two shooting targets in the background.

“Anna has done more to excite patriotism in Russians than our football team and the Bulava missile put together,” RIA Novosti quoted the magazine as saying.

Part of a nine person Russian spy ring uncovered by the FBI earlier this year, Chapman became a National Hero upon returning home from her much publicized arrest.  This past Monday, she and her comrades received top honors from the Kremlin for their cloak and dagger styled antics deep in the belly of the Capitalist Beast.

According to the FBI, Chapman and her compatriots were engaging in Cold war style espionage- spending years adopting American identities and gathering an array of intelligence, from information about nuclear weapons to the gold market and personnel changes at the CIA.

They later pleaded guilty to failing to register as foreign agents and were ferried out of the country in a prisoner exchange, just like our two nations did in the good ol' days.

Good Egg...

amd_chapman_annaShortly after her very public arrest, Anna Chapman's first husband- Alex Chapman- ran in front of as many TV cameras and reporters as he could, dying to tell the world every torrid detail he had on the red headed bombshell.

Claiming to have met the spy at a London rave in 2001 and having fallen completely in love at first sight, Chapman spoke glowingly of the wild nights he spent with Anna.

"Anya was great in bed and she knew exactly what to do," said Alex Chapman, who married the then-Anya Kushchenko in 2002. "The sex was great and she had this incredible body."

"I found her Russian accent such a turn-on," added the 30-year-old psychologist trainee. "We were having so much fun. We also experimented with sex toys."

He also believes that deep down he always knew she was up to no good due to her deep love for the James Bond movie franchise.

According to Russian state media, the former Red Spook now works as a consultant for an investment bank and was spotted about two weeks ago at the Baikonur Cosmodrome space station in Kazakhstan working on exploration projects.
