Obama cabinet members linked to global conspiracy!!!!!

Kathleen SebeliusIt's one thing for Kathleen Sebelius' nomination to head Health and Humyn Services to be contested due to some of her left wing views.  But it is not her left of center policies that have drawn the ire of her critics... it is her sworn allegiance to an international group of powerbrokers and globalists that has the internet and AM radio inflamed.  See, Kathleen Sebelius, as well as other members and nominees to the Obama administration have been linked to the Bildergberg group, a rumored multinational group bent on global domination.  And this group seems to have the conspiracy theorists bubbling the waters.

It usually does not take much for a new administration to get itself in the cross hairs of a conspiracy theory.  Just the fact that it is new is enough to get those paranoid imaginations turning, trying to connect all the dots (both real and imagined) floating out there in the ether.  But when you add a crumbling economy and decaying global relations, it becomes a perfect storm for paranoid delusions.  But just how paranoid is it?  It seems near impossible to get a random group of global movers and shakers and find that the Bilderbergs are not somewhere in their paths.  Bush had a few members of the group in his tent (and rumor has it that his father is also a member).  Bill Clinton is even a member!!!   But would members of such a politically charged and informed group not act in conflict of American goals and ideologies?

If you were to ask the Bilderbergs exactly what it is that their group does, they would tell you, all be it vaguely, that they are a group who meets by invitation once a year "to create a better understanding of the complex forces and the major trends affecting the Western world" (as quoted from an official Bilderberg press release from June, 2007).  But to a conspiracy theorist, the secretive group is far more insidious.  They are a group of corporate globalists' hell bent on destroying the world's economic and security checks, ultimately attempting to collapse world governments and bring in the defunct nation-states thus forming a one world government that will rule the world!!!  Conspiracy theorists believe that it is at their yearly meetings that The Bilderberg higher ups issue the marching orders to their underlings located in all branches of government all over the world.  These underlings are then to go to their respective homelands and institute the plans of their evil global conspiracy, thus bringing on the beginnings of the global collapse and the beginning of the NEW WORLD ORDER (insert maniacal laughter and thunderclaps here).New World Order

Usually, the claims of the whack-a-doodles who would propagate such madness would be disregarded with ease; their insane ranting and claims of global apocalypses falling on sane ears.  But they might have something on this one.  Sebelius is not the only nominee (or member) of Obama's inner circle who has a tie with this international group.  Tom Daschle, the man that Sebelius is replacing was also a member of the shadowy group.  As is Richard Holbrooke (US envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan), Dennis Ross (special advisor to Sec. of State Hillary Clinton on matters of the Gulf region and Southwest Asia), lil' Timmy Geithner (US Treasury Secretary), Larry Summers (National Economic Council director), and Paul Volcker (Chairman of the Economic Recovery Advisory Board).

It is the belief of the conspiracy theorists that having these people placed in seats of power allows for the group to control the fate of the nations while allowing the leaders to take the fall should things not work out.  In defense of the Bilderbergs (and because I do not want an unmarked black van to roll up on me and make me go away) claims that their group is benign and that they gather together to talk about how to solve the world's problems... not enslave the world under the banner of a one world government.

But is it a good idea to let people in such organizations have anything to do with American policy?  Ron Paul does not think so.

Rep. Ron PaulYou remember Ron Paul... the Republican candidate who was claiming the government was too big and too involved in the day to day lives of the American people, and was getting made fun of for being such an out of the box thinker.  In an interview with Politico.com, an online news magazine, Paul said that while he does not particularly focus his interest on what cliques people wander in, it is a little bit disturbing that so many powerful and influential people seem to come from the same group.

"The one thing that concerns me is that the people who surround Obama or Bush generally come from the same philosophic viewpoint and they have their organizations - they have the Trilateral Commission, the CFR [Council on Foreign Relations] and the Bilderbergers, and they've been around a long time. And my biggest concern is what they preach: Keynesian economics and interventionism and world planning.

"And I don't think it's just Obama. Whether it's the Republicans or the Democrats - Goldman Sachs generally has somebody in treasury. And the big banks generally have somebody in the Federal Reserve. And they're international people, too. And they're probably working very hard this weekend, with the G20. And they get involved in the IMF. But that is their stated goal. They do believe in a powerful centralized government."

flying monkeysWhile the Obama administration might not have anything to do with any of this and it is all just some happy piece of circumstance, kind of like how it is oddly coincidental how all the people blowing up market places by wearing suicide vests seem to all be Muslim.  Weird, huh???  Maybe there is nothing going on... nothing moving below the surface, in the shadows of those things that they want us to see.  And maybe every time I fart, monkeys come flying out of my ass.

Whether it is all just bullshit or not, it is important for us, as a society to pay attention to everything the powerful do.  If you avert your eyes for just as moment, it could take decades to undo whatever madness they implement.

And as for this whole new world order nonsense...

There is a part of me who realizes that if there is one thing I have learned about grand schemes being pulled off under the cover of darkness, it can only be stopped by a man working alone and against his government.  When it comes to government conspiracies, there is very little that we the people can do... I mean it is so big and we are but so small...

But I would not like to be part of any New World Order...

Unless, of course, Scott Hall is in charge of it...
