The skies of the United Kingdom were once again the scene for yet another strange spectacle. It seems that footage is making its way around the internet which shows two British fighter jets giving chase to a shiny silver orb which has yet to be identified.
The thirty second clip is believed to have been taken at a West midland's service station in England late last week by an unknown eye witness.
Former UFO expert for the Ministry of Defense, Nick Pope, told The Sun that the video "... is one of the best videos I've seen. It could be a new drone - that might explain the military jets."
"But you don't normally test-fly secret projects in daylight. Alternatively, this could be the real thing - a UFO in our airspace and military aircraft scrambled to intercept, probably due to it being tracked on radar."
As of yet, the MoD has not commented on the video clip, only publicly confirming that fighter jets would in fact be scrambled if the Ministry believed they were needed in order to engage a perceived threat.
Why not check out the video and see for yourself...
Between you and I, I am not sure what to believe on this one.
Usually it does not take much for me to buy into UFO videos, as I am in the tank for the cause. I already believe that there is intelligent life somewhere in the universe and that for some reason it has taken a vested interest in us and in our planet. So for me to see a video, especially a very clear video, of an unexplained object cutting through the sky is a confirmation of all I believe.
For some reason, as much as I pine for clear video of some of these strange happenings in the sky, when I do get it in my hands I instantly toss it to the side, proclaiming it to be a computer generated hoax.
It's like constantly blaming your wife of cheating on you yet not believing your eyes when you come across a video of her blowing some guy.
There's a lot of chatter on the internet, with all the nerd sites saying the same thing we are, disregarding this video as a hoax with little more to go on other than it looks too good to be true (some sites are claiming that the original feed for this video is a person with quite a few CGI videos on their feeds).
But then again, there is a whole bunch of weird shit going on in the skies above the United Kingdom so there is a very good chance that there is something to this video. The choice is yours...
