A strange object was seems to have caused one of those unexplained spiral patters in the night skies above Western Canada Friday evening.
The anomaly appears in pictures submitted to Theweatherspace.com, as well as in a hair raising video.
The mysterious spiral is being compared (and rightfully so) to a similar looking spiral pattern which appeared in the skies over Norway not too long ago. in the video, shown below, an unexplained object seems to swoop down, then suddenly cutting up skyward followed by a brilliant flash of light. This flash of light is what ends up causing the spiral pattern in the sky... a luminescent ripple in the ocean of black.
"I have four sky cameras to catch meteors on and number three caught it", said Steven Murray, the astronomer who caught the object in the video. "I saw it from my office while doing work. The object was on the monitor. By the time I rushed outside the object was gone but the loudest boom I ever heard from a distance struck shortly after."
As of yet, no official word has been released discussing neither the spiral pattern nor the mysterious object that seems to have caused it in the afore mentioned video. While nothing official was ever stated about the spiral over Norway, popular opinion is that the spiral was caused by a Russian missile being test fired in the area.
Might this spiral also be the work of a Russian armament experiment? Or might it be something else...
Photos and the video show an object that seem to have a purpose of motion, leading one to believe that the object is being piloted as opposed to guided by directional controls. Also, the brilliant flash of light, incredible rate of acceleration, and shortness of its turn also point to something a bit more complicated than a new type of smart bomb.
So if not a missile, then what?
Between you and I, this is something we have never seen before.
The hairs on my arm stood up when I first watched the video; my spidey sense telling me that this is definitely not just some missile being tested.
But before we get all excited and start losing our minds, let's make sure it isn't just a real nice looking hoax.
The ol' "too good to be true" voice should be going off in your head... A clear video of an unexplained object moving intelligently causing a strange phenomenon in the sky and a bunch of independent pictures to corroborate it??? This is either the greatest hoax to be pulled or clear proof UFOlogists have been clamoring for.But only time will tell. We will be sure to keep an eye on this one... see if it grows some hair...
