The idea of DISCLOSURE- the idea that the American Government (though, really, any global government with some clout would work) is going to tell the public everything in regards to the Extraterrestrials so many of us believe we are seeing dart around our skies- is something that UFO-logists have been hoping for since the Roswell cover-up.
While many of those clamoring for governmental disclosure (myself included) could only hope for a televised address from the President of the United States telling the world everything he knows on the matter, it is fairly well understood that there is little to no chance of something like that ever going down...
Or is there...
AllNewsWeb is claiming that they have received information from a government insider close to President Obama alleging that the President will be making an announcement regarding extraterrestrial and their involvement with Earthlings in the very near future.
According to the report, President Obama has been given the "go ahead" by DARPA (the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, a division of the Department of Defense rumored to be deeply involved with the ET cover-up as well as the reverse engineering and application of alien technology) to make an important announcement regarding extraterrestrials, UFOs, and the involvement of the United States with them.
Quoting the release:
Our sources claim this will not be outright admittance of UFO visits and contact with aliens, however the comments will come as close to admittance as any President has to date and will be made in the context of a speech on an entirely different matter.
From what we understand The President will concede that there is 'some evidence' to suggest aliens might have attempted to contact Earthlings.
All of this is said to be part of a warm up program leading to eventual outright admittance of knowledge of UFO and alien visitation by major world governments within three years.
My fellow Americans...
As outrageous a claim as this story is making it is not the first time that such a rumor has been tossed about.
it was widely rumored late last year that President Obama was ready to blow the lid off of alien secrecy (was even reported to have had ninety minutes of television time scheduled in November for the announcement) but- due to objections from the mysterious DARPA- pulled the plug on the historic announcement at the last minute.
As for the alleged January "off the cuff" announcement...
I have heard callers on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory mention this rumor once or twice in passing and seen posts on some of the sketchier, more paranoid sites I lurk around, but those claims offered no more proof for their claims than the report from AllNewsWeb.
And because of that, much like I felt about the rumors floating around last year's announcement, I really just don't buy it.
There is just no way that an American politician would ever allow an announcement of this magnitude to be just casually released along with the rest of their rhetoric. Their egos wouldn't allow for a moment as historic as the annoucnement of communication with extraterrestrial lifeforms to not be presented with pomp and circumstance.
And that's if they would even announce something like that at all.
Personally, I have no reason to believe that the US Government would ever admit publicly to any prior knowledge as to the existence of extraterritorial.
Why would they even consider it?
People have little confidence in the honesty of their government as it is. Think anyone would be willing to put any faith at all into anything those stiffs in designer suits said once a conspiracy theory of this vast proportion bears true?
For the government, there would be little motivation to go public with such knowledge.
But what if it is not the Government's motivations that are pushing this move...
What's my motivation...
From the way I look at it, there are only two things that would motivate a Government- especially a Government that plays things as close to the vest as our Government does- to "come clean" about something they worked this hard to keep secret
The first, and the more logical of the two, would be the threats from the accused rapist Julian Assange that the next batch of Wikileaks will include UFO related cables.
It could be that there is some damaging information in that batch of cables and that the President, knowing that the Government is really taking it on the chin with all these cables being leaked out for public consumption, wants to get out in front of the ET issue.
The other external motivational factor for this move could also be that perhaps the aliens have let them know that they intend to become more public with the people of Earth in the coming years and there is nothing that the Governments can do to prevent it. If you can't keep something from happening, then you had better make sure you get as many people as you can primed and ready to accept such mind bending news.
But even in these scenarios, I still doubt that they would deviate away from the tried and true Government policy of "deny, deny, deny" that they have used for decades to keep the public in the dark over matters the government believes that they don't need the public to know about. i mean, it has worked for them this long...
I would love to believe that one day Obama is gonna end up on TV and tell the world about alien contact...
But there is no chance that it would ever happen that way.
I would love to be wrong on the matter... I really would... But I just don't see it.
