Lucas tells Rogen about 2012 beliefs...

1235329914-George-LucasWhile doing press in Toronto, Canada for The Green Hornet (which was rather watchable I might add), comic actor and pothead of note Seth Rogen let loose with a rather interesting tidbit of information.

He claimed that while taking a meeting with George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, the legendary Star Wars creator/ raper of my beloved childhood memories unleashed upon Rogen his rather controversial views on the future of the world.

“George Lucas sits down and seriously proceeds to talk for around 25 minutes about how he thinks the world is gonna end seth_rogen_225in the year 2012, like, for real," Rogen said. "He thinks it.  He’s going on about the tectonic plates and all the time Spielberg is, like, rolling his eyes, like, ’My nerdy friend won’t shut up, I’m sorry...’

“I first thought he (Lucas) was joking... and then I totally realized he was serious and then I started thinking, ’If you’re George Lucas and you actually think the world is gonna end in a year, there’s no way you haven’t built a spaceship for yourself... So I asked him... ’Can I have a seat on it?’"

He went on...

“He claimed he didn’t have a spaceship, but there’s no doubt there’s a Millennium Falcon in a garage somewhere with a pilot just waiting to go," Rogen said. "It’s gonna be him and Steven Spielberg and I’ll be blown up like the rest of us.”

Can the Force see the future...

There's one of two ways that this story can be taken, and depending on how one takes it will determine how many "old enough to be embarrassed by it" virgins are found dead in their mother's garages with cars running...

rogen-potOn the one hand it very well could nothing more than bullshit; an aside a freshly baked Rogen might have tossed out there to amuse himself.

But on the other hand...

One of the world's most wealthy and influential media figures is telling you how he has it on good authority that the world ends on2012... You would be lying if you said you wouldn't listen.

Hell, you listen when I go on and on about the coming End of the World and I am just some dirty Florida pothead...

And don't go thinking that just cause Rogen claims that Spielberg keep shaking his head and giving the globally accepted sign for "Loco in the cabesa" sign...

Never have to walk back some plan one of your idiot friends let out of the bag in front of someone you would rather not know of said plans?

For all we know, Spielberg and Lucas have both bought themselves spots some "Ark" intended to ferry those rich enough to buy a ticket into the brave new world that awaits what's left of the Human Race after a devastating Apocalyptic event befalls the Earth and neither of them would like for Rogen (or any of us for that matter) to join them there.

Come to me, my babies... Let me quell your pain...

Nowhereis here the virgn suicide comes into play...

George Lucas wields an awful lot of influence in a certain segment of the population...

A population segment that, sadly, may not be living their lives to the fullest thus has little to lose...

Now what if this population segment that may not have much reason to go on gets it into their heads that a primarily influence on their lives believes that the whole world is going to come to an end next year...

The people of Jonestown drank their Kool-Aid for less well thought out reasons...

Not like the world isn't giving them much reason not to think so... What with birds falling from the sky, the magnetic pole shift of our planet, the rumors of war, the crumbling global economies...One would be an unobservant fool not to have such ideas popping around their heads...

Personally, I think this is George just talking... Like I said, the world is going through some shit currently and at some point our minds- which Mr. Lucas has a beautiful one with his vision, knowledge, and imagination- have to try and make sense of  it all.

His mind just happened to go to a very dark and dreary place.

That said, when I spoke to the Zetatalk broad she did say the George Lucas was in contact with extraterrestrials...

Just sayin' is all...
