A recent University of Texas at Austin study , published in the journal Personality and Individual Differences, has come to some interesting conclusions about the changing views of fidelity among our nation's youth.
After polling 716 college students in the United States the study found that overall, 50 percent of men would likely continue a relationship with a woman who had a dalliance with another woman, while 22 percent said they could forgive betrayal with another man.
For women, the results were reversed. If their boyfriend cheated with another woman, 28 percent said they'd keep him around, but only 21 percent said they would if he cheated with another man.
"A robust jealousy mechanism is activated in men and women by different types of cues -- those that threaten paternity in men and those that threaten abandonment in women," said Jaime Confer, the study's lead author and a PhD candidate in evolutionary psychology.
The study found that while men would feel threatened by knowledge than another buck had been around his woman, the homosexual dalliances of his partner would be more permissible by a man because of the perceived opportunity to have sex with two women.
A rose by any other name...
For some reason, this phenomenon never really made a whole lot of sense to me...
The whole "I have a boyfriend/husband but he is ok with me stepping out every once in a while with another broad" thing that for some reason or another keeps entering into my periphery (in the interest of full disclosure, for some reason recently a vast majority of my television viewing has been with MTV).
It never made too much sense to me.
I get lesbians... don't misunderstand me. I get girls who like girls. That's fine and dandy.
And while it never really floated my boat, I even kind of understand the Holy Grail-like pursuit some guys have with having a "threesome".
But this game some fucking guys have where their broad are allowed to bring home girls for her to fool around with- that he is not allowed to have sex with mind you- and it's all OK...
How is this fucking OK???
She is having sex with another person in front of you and you are OK with that?
No, worse... You are supposed to want it... encourage it... on the hopes that she might one day let you into that tangled web.
This doesn't make you a stud (pay attention threesome guy because this applies to you too)...
This makes you a cuckold.
And being a cuckold isn't a good thing.
My Girlfriend's girlfriend...
I am not coming to this conclusion from some ill perceived jealousy...
I ain't calling you "swinging dicks" cuckolds because I never had enough game to pull two chicks at once or because I always wanted to try but never quite had the minerals to make it happen.
I'm calling you cuckolds because you are.
If you are cool with someone else going knuckle deep in your woman while you jerk off in the corner then you are a cuckold.
Hell, take the sex out of it...
If your woman is dancing with another woman (and I am not referring to the "whoo dancing" women seem to like to do when they gather in groups) - be it in front of you or not- and you are cool with it then you are a cuckold.
You would be if she were doing it with a man... why not because it is woman?
Because it's hot? Because she might let you join?
Why would she let you join? (This especially applies to those guys who have this shit going on a lot. I know there are not too many of you but if HBO's Real Sex is any indication then there is at least enough to devote a segment to on every other show) Think she wants to be a cuckquean??? (Cuckquean is a now obsolete word for a female cuckold...)
It's a conspiracy...
There has to be a reason behind this lopsided contrast in the results between genders.
Women seem to leave their men at about the same clip whether they cheat with a man or a woman while men have that odd variant to their numbers (their girl on guy affairs numbers are on par with the women's numbers).
Could it be, as the study found, that this is nothing more than already present hypersexual tendency in men being exploited by adulterous women with a kink for the stink?
But might it be something more subversive...
Might this be an intended consequence... say a side effect of the feminization of men in our culture or the results of some nefarious plot to normalize aberrant behavior in order to further destabilize the family unit brought to us by the Liberal Media and the various Globalist movements out there intent on deconstructing our society from within?I guess only time will tell...
